+ Contracting-Out Agreements; and
+ Practical Working Examples.

> MODULE 103 - Client Conversations (2-hrs)
+ Reducing your risk;
+ When do you raise estate planning with clients:

> PERSONAL FOCUS

+ Leading with the Will;
+ Leading with the family home in trust;
+ Integrating with risk event discussions; and
+ Review conversations and diagrams;

> BUSINESS FOCUS
+ Setting the framework – Business Risk, Owners Risk, Personal Risk;
+ Owners Risk - Shareholders & Insurance Trusts, flowchart; and
+ Reviews and Obligations of Directors.

> MODULE 104 - Wills (1-hr)
+ Stats & facts about Wills – know the numbers;
+ The language of Wills;
+ Requirements of a Will – must, should, can; and
+ Key points and questions.

> MODULE 105 - EPAs (1-hr)
+ Stats & facts about EPAs – know the numbers;
+ The language of EPAs; and
+ Requirements of an EPA.

> MODULE 106 - Trusts (2-hrs)
+ Stats & facts about Trusts – know the numbers;
+ How a Trust works;
+ More than one Trust? Family Trust / LTC / Investment Trust;
+ Trustee duties (Trusts Act 2019);
+ Reasons for using Trusts and examples;
+ Where Trusts can be busted or protection isn’t as strong;
+ Where advice should be sought;
+ Are Trusts expensive to set-up and maintain, the slider impact; and
+ Where trust and other estate planning documents are held.

> MODULE 107 - Scenarios (2-hrs)
+ Family; and
+ Business.

> MODULE 108 - More Learning (1-hr)
+ Trust Act, Experts and Resources; and
+ Ongoing Learning.

At the conclusion of this programme you will receive a written record confirming the completion of each of the professional development modules. The information provided on the certificate is designed to help you assess the relevance of the material against your professional development requirements of your role, and to provide verification of the course content (and subject matter expertise behind the material), supporting your requirements under Standard 18 of the Code of Professional Conduct for Authorised Financial Advisers.
